Mujtaba had qualified NEET examination last year and was pursuing his education at a medical college in Uttarakhand. However, in the face of alleged harassment from senior students there, Dar ran into some mental problems and was subsequently brought back by his parents some three months back, his family said.

They said he left home Friday evening and has been missing since. The family has lodged a missing report at the nearest police station and is eagerly waiting for the return of their son.

“Our family is completely devastated by this tragic incident. We appeal to our son to come back. We also request people to bring our son home if they are able trace him anywhere,” the family appealed.
