ANANTNAG: In a remarkable achievement, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) in Anantnag has emerged as the front runner among the various Regional Transport Offices in Jammu and Kashmir, setting a benchmark in the implementation of faceless vehicle services.
In 2023, ARTO Office Anantnag achieved 95.88% total disposable percentage with the best performance management practices, 2468 applications were disposed of out of a total of 2574 applications. The data was compiled based on all faceless services provided by the Transport Department of J&K from Sept 23 to Nov 23 for all offices.
The office has revolutionized its performance management to put more power in the hands of citizens providing high-quality, ongoing feedback, and streamlined and enhanced services through faceless processes. This technological advancement aligns with the government’s vision of providing citizen-centric services in a feasible and accessible manner.
