This was a unique event where both girls’ and boys’ championships were organised simultaneously. The participant teams, having navigated through a challenging tournament which started on 14 Nov, left no stone unturned in their pursuit of glory. The energy in the stadium was palpable as supporters from both sides created an atmosphere that added to the spectacle.

The girl’s championship was participated by six teams and the final was played between Kashmir Arrows and KIC Budgam. The boys’ championship was fought between sixteen teams and witnessed fierce competition and the finals were played between SCFA, Srinagar and Ganderbal FA.

On the occasion, the Chief guest, Chinar Corps Commander gave the championship trophy to Kashmir Arrows (Champion in Girl’s event) and SCFA, Srinagar (Champion in Boy’s event). Speaking to the audience, the Chinar Corps Commander impressed upon the need for inculcating ‘Sports as a way of life’ and motivated Youth to bring a sports revolution in Kashmir.

The success of the tournament was credited to Indian Army, Punit Balan Group (Sponsor), Kashmir Speaks NGO (organiser), ANN news (Media partner), Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, J&K Football Association, all players, and fans who collectively contributed in making it a memorable event.

As we reflect on this thrilling Championship, the youth of Kashmir eagerly awaits the next chapter in the ongoing sport’s narrative in Kashmir.
