Road damage halts traffic on Jmu-Sgr highway
Srinagar: Motorists traveling on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) faced a roadblock today as traffic was halted from both sides at Kishtwari Pather, Banihal.
The disruption was caused by significant road damage, prompting immediate intervention from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
NHAI’s rock breakers have been deployed for the widening and repair work to address the road damage swiftly. Traffic personnel, NHAI engineers, and officials from the district administration are actively present at the site to manage the situation and coordinate the repair efforts.
