Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.
He said at a checkpoint established at Darwa Chandoosa, police intercepted and later arrested one person identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie, son of Ali Mohammad Ganie, resident of Mongam Kreeri, after her personal search yielded 50 grams of cannabis-like substance. A case has been registered in this regard.
