BARAMULLA: The Department of Biochemistry, Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla in collaboration with the Department of Medicine and Ophthalmology is going to organize a free diabetes investigation cum consultation camp as part of the commemoration of World Diabetes Day 2023 on November 14, 2023, at Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla.

The event is being commemorated with the theme ‘Access to Diabetes Care’ and will focus on raising awareness of the importance of equitable access to diabetes care for all, regardless of their socioeconomic status or location.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated annually on November 14 to raise awareness of diabetes and its complications.

The camp will offer free screening tests and free medical consultation for diabetics. In addition, the event will also feature a Lecture Series involving top-notch clinicians and researchers of valley and Poster Presentations from MBBS/Paramedical/Nursing students of GMC Baramulla.

The general public, especially the diabetic population of North Kashmir is being informed to enrol themselves for the free Diabetes Investigation cum Consultation Camp on November 14, 2023.

The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
