Ramgarh (Samba): JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani has said that the BJP government at the centre and UT administration are afraid of the peaceful protests of its employees and put a ban on their democratic rights to seek timely release of their salary and GPF besides other dues of their hard work & termed it most undemocratic.

He said that people are fed up with the misrule of the BJP & it will face the wrath of people of all sections when elections are held while Congress has emerged as the first choice of people including in the Jammu region.

Addressing a large congress rally at the Ramgarh assembly segment in Samba dist today, Shri Vikar Rasool Wani lashed out at the BJP for the worst sufferings of each& every section of society due to misrule & misgovernance on various fronts, for more than nine years.

JKPCC chief expressed surprise that the government is afraid of its employees and has put a ban upon them to restrain them from seeking due salary of three months, GPF, wages & regularisation, in a peaceful manner. Is it good governance and where is the democracy left, he questioned.

Wani said that people are highly agitated over the denial of the right to elect their representatives for more than nine years while the deferment of panchayat and ULB polls too, has added to the anger of people. BJP wants to rule through proxy as they know their fate in the election.

He referred to the sufferings of the farmers and border people who face the brunt of Pakistan and their government too. “They suffered huge losses and instead are being harassed to pay the arrears of the abolished irrigation tax( abhiana) by the BJP government. The unemployed youth are suffering, the common man is being taxed but people like Adani are answerable to none.”

“The people will rise and show the door to BJP in the Lok Sabha and assembly elections as well as other basic elections if held but BJP is deliberately running away from all sorts of elections,” he added.
