Srinagar: In order to eradicate corruption and to oppose all forms of corruption, the Police on the occasion of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ facilitated pledge-taking ceremonies at all the police establishments across the Kashmir Zone.
The pledge functions were held simultaneously at all the District Police headquarters as well as Police establishments. During the functions, the pledge was administrated to all the officers & officials by the respective District SSsP & concerned supervisory officers.
During the ceremonies, all the officers/jawans pledged to work with zeal in maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency and good governance besides, eradicating corruption and opposing all forms of corruption. Moreover, it was also pledged neither to offer nor to accept bribes, but rather to foster a culture of honesty and integrity.
