IUST in collab with MuSigma to introduce B.Tech in Decision Sciences

Awantipora: Dhiraj C Rajaram, CEO of Mu Sigma, a Unicorn along with his team was on a two-day visit to IUST. Mu Sigma, a hyper-growth unicorn is a Big Data analytics and Decision Science Company that partners with over 140 Fortune 500 companies to enhance their analytical and decision-making capabilities. 

The visiting delegation held deliberations with the Vice-Chancellor and other officers of the university and discussed the strategy for rolling out B Tech in Decision sciences in a collaborative mode.

Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, Vice Chancellor of IUST, speaking on this occasion said that IUST is committed to enhancing the skills of students thereby ensuring their employability in the spirit of NEP 2020. 

He said that to train the youth for the Knowledge economy and IR 4.0, imparting skills in data sciences, data analytics and decision sciences has assumed greater relevance.

Among others, the Dean of Research, Prof. A H Moon, Dean of Academic Affairs IUST, Prof Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Registrar, Prof Naseer Iqbal and Finance Officer, Sameer Wazir participated in the deliberations.
