“We are deeply saddened to learn that an intense hailstorm has caused extensive damage to apple crops in the districts of Shopian and Kulgam in South Kashmir, as well as Bandipora in North Kashmir. In these challenging times, the Apni Party stands in solidarity with the affected farmers and orchardists,” the statement reads.

Apni Party leaders urged authorities to ensure that the affected fruit growers receive adequate compensation to aid in their recovery. “We request the LG administration to dispatch official teams to the affected areas for a comprehensive evaluation of the damage caused by the hailstorm. This will enable the affected farmers to receive fair compensation to help them cope with their losses,” the statement added.
