Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNO): Two local LeT terrorists have been killed in the encounter at Alshipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday, police said.

Kashmir Zone police in a post on X, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that two terrorists have been killed, while the operation is on.

“#ShopianEncounterUpdate: Two (02) #terrorists killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow,” police said.

Meanwhile, ADGP Vijay Kumar while identifying slain terrorists as Morifat Maqbool and Jazim Farooq, said that Jazim was involved in the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma.
