During the convocation ceremony, the President will confer prestigious honors upon meritorious students and scholars from the University, starting from the year 2020. A total of four hundred students and scholars are set to be bestowed with gold medals, as well as Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degrees.

Following the convocation, President Murmu is expected to participate in a captivating light and sound spectacle on the picturesque Dal Lake in Srinagar. The evening of October 11 will culminate in a dinner reception, graciously hosted by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

In adherence to the rigorous security protocols established for the President’s visit, Kashmir University’s campus has undergone thorough sanitization in the days leading up to this high-profile event.
