Srinagar: In a grand literary event, the book launch of “Bache, Bache Doctor Te Bache Doctory” authored by Dr. Showkat Hussain Tali took place today at the iconic Tagore Hall in Srinagar. 

The event marked a significant moment in the world of literature and healthcare as the book was unveiled by the prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL).

The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished individuals including Rafeeq Raaz, Ayaz Rasool Nazki, Prof. Shad Ramzan, Ali Shaida, Dr. Nazir Mushtaq, and Dr. Farooq Anwar Mirza, who presided over the event. Dr. Gulzar A Rather expertly anchored the proceedings, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Javid Iqbal.

The audience was treated to a scholarly presentation by Dr. Nisar Nadeem, who delved into a detailed analysis of the book’s content. Additionally, Riyaz Anznoo, Yousuf Jangjr, Shabir Ahmad Shabir, and Shakeel Ur Rehman provided insightful and in-depth analyses of the book’s themes and messages.

A special guest at the event was SSP ACB South Kashmir, Shri Rakesh, who graced the occasion as the guest of honour.

“Bache, Bache Doctor Te Bache Doctory” is a captivating collection of poems and essays written in Kashmiri, addressing various facets of childhood. The book delves into the joys and sorrows of growing up, underscores the significance of education, and advocates for the protection of children from abuse and exploitation. 

Dr. Showkat Hussain Tali has crafted the book in a simple yet compelling style, making it accessible and relatable to readers of all ages.

The book launch was an unequivocal success, drawing a large and diverse audience that included scholars, authors, poets, and students. The enthusiastic reception of the book speaks to its universal appeal and its potential to spark essential conversations about childhood and pediatric care.

Dr Showkat Hussain Tali, a renowned paediatrician, added another feather to his cap with this literary achievement.
