Advisor Bhatnagar conducts surprise inspection of GHS Ganishpora Pahalgam

PAHALGAM: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today conducted a surprise inspection of Government High School (GHS), Ganishpora and reviewed the overall functioning of the institution.

During the visit, the Advisor conducted a detailed inspection of the school premises and assessed the progress on ongoing works at the new building of the institution. He assessed the school’s operations and also held meaningful interactions with both teachers and students.

While interacting with the Acting Head Master and staff of the institution, he checked their attendance the Advisor asked them to employ innovative methods for teaching and ensure that the learning outcomes are achieved He advised the teachers to follow the guidelines of NEP-2020 as it forms the basis for transforming the education system of our country by providing access, equity, quality, affordability, and accountability.

During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar also interacted with students and assessed their learning outcomes. He encouraged them to dream big and remain committed to achieving their dreams and aspirations.

While inspecting the premises of schools, he conducted a comprehensive review of the school’s infrastructure, learning materials, and administrative processes. He took note of the facilities available to students and assured that the deficiencies would be addressed promptly.

He also inspected the mid-day meal kitchen of the institution. He asked the management to adhere to cleanliness and maintain the nutritional qualities of the food for the overall health of the children.

On the ongoing construction works at the new building, the Advisor delved upon the executing agency to complete the works well on time. He also asked them to establish a playground with all kinds of sporting facilities for the overall development of students.

Pertinently, the Advisor’s visit was aimed to gain valuable insights into the school’s functioning, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that students are provided with the best educational resources and opportunities.
