Srinagar: Police in Awantipora have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman informed Monday.
He said at a checkpoint at Khankahbagh Pampore, police arrested a drug peddler Bilal Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat of Khankahbagh Pampore. During his search, 5.3 Kgs of Fukki was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
