ANANTNAG: The JKB Rural Self Employment Training Institute (JKBRSETI) in Anantnag celebrated the successful completion of a 30-day women’s tailoring batch today.

The event was marked by enthusiasm and positivity as 26 dedicated trainees successfully finished the training and were endorsed to embark on a journey of self-employment.

In the presence of Assistant Director Employment, Nowshad Anjum Mir, and Employment Officer, Rayees Iqbal, the participants were not only felicitated for their accomplishments but also motivated to embrace the path of self-employment.

Nowshad encouraged the trainees to leverage the skills they acquired during the training and assured them of the administration’s support whenever needed.

The event garnered an overwhelming response from the trainees, who took the opportunity to share their invaluable experiences gained over the course of the last thirty days. Their stories highlighted the transformative impact of the training, as they honed their tailoring skills and acquired the confidence to venture into self-employment.

JKBRSETI’s commitment to empowering women through skill development was evident throughout the event. The successful conclusion of the women’s tailoring batch not only reflects the institute’s dedication to fostering self-reliance but also exemplifies the potential for women’s economic empowerment in the region.
