SRINAGAR: Director Information, Minga Sherpa has expressed his deep condolence to the Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed, on the demise of his father Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah.

In his condolence message, Minga Sherpa offered his deepest condolences to Secretary Tourism and his bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the family to bear this irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, The employees of Jammu & Kashmir Economic Reconstruction Agency expressed heartfelt condolences and grief over the death of Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, Father of Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS) Secretary to Government, Department of Tourism/Culture and Chief Executive Officer, J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

An emergency condolence meeting was held today simultaneously at the JKERA office, Rambagh as well as the JKERA Office, Jammu in which employees of J&KERA expressed grief over the sad demise and extended heartfelt condolences to Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS) and his family and prayed for solace to the departed soul and expressed deepest sympathies and prayed that may Allah grant the family patience and forbearance to endure this irreparable loss.

The meeting also prayed that may Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah. The meeting was attended by all the cadres of ERA employees. 

Meanwhile, the Department of Libraries & Research has condoled the demise of Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, father of Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary, Tourism & Culture.

Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah breathed his last at his residence this morning and was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Nishat.

A condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director of Libraries & Research, Mohammad Rafi at the Directorate of Libraries & Research here today which was attended by all the officers and officials of the Department.

While extending deepest condolences to the bereaved family, the meeting prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in this moment of grief.
