Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case by arresting two accused persons, and recovered stolen property from their possession.
Acting on a complaint of theft at Gonipora Kunzer, police zeroed in on two suspects — Bilal Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone , and Ashan Jeelani Wani, son of Ghulam Jeelani Wani, both residents of Gonipora Kunzer, police spokesman said.
During questioning, both the accused persons confessed their involvement in theft and on their disclosure stolen jewellery was recovered. They have been arrested and shifted to a police station where they remain in custody, police said.
