Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have recovered an abducted minor girl by arresting an accused person, police informed Wednesday.
Acting on a complaint of a minor girl going missing on July 23 from Pattan, police during investigations, with the help of technical evidences came to know that the missing girl had been abducted by one Nazim Ahmad Kumar, son of Abdul Razak, resident of Mulgam Kunzer, police spokesman informed.
He said subsequently, the accused was arrested and the abducted girl was recovered from Kunzer area.
After medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family while further investigation into the case is going on, police said.
