JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani has hit out at the administration for failing to reach out to Shia areas to review the Muharram arrangements and other facilities required to be made for the people, leading to disappointment and anguish among the Shia community.

LG J&K has also failed to call a Muharram-related meeting, this year, which is very unfortunate, Wani added and said Congress Party condemns the inaction and inability to hold a meeting on Muharram and strongly demands that the administration must be geared up for making all arrangements for the people during the auspicious period of Muharram.

JKPCC Chief also urged upon LG (J&K) that the administration be directed to reach out to Shia areas and review the Muharram arrangement, without any further delay.
