“Mount Nun and Mount Kun, located in the spectacular region of Jammu and Kashmir, stand as a formidable challenge for even the most skilled climbers. Rising majestically amidst the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, these mountains embody the spirit of adventure and serve as a testament to human resilience,” he said.

The PRO further said: “Over the past two months, the team of climbers has undergone rigorous training at an altitude of 13000ft. They have honed their skills in fundamental mountaineering techniques, such as rock climbing, ice climbing, and high-altitude survival.”

“Led by accomplished mountaineer Col Rajneesh Joshi and backed by a support team of dedicated professionals, the expedition of Chinar Warriors embodies the core values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. The flagging-off ceremony on the 8th of July 2023 at Baramulla will mark the official commencement of this historic journey. As the team embarks on this formidable endeavour, their bravery, resilience, and unwavering determination will inspire fellow soldiers and the entire nation,” he added.
