Human Aid Society distributes relief among people of Ring Payeen village

Kupwara: As part of the ongoing ZERO HUNGER Programme aimed at assisting the poor and needy in frontier villages, the Human Aid Society (HAS) collaborated with the Iltizam Relief Society to extend its relief operation to the border village of Ring Payeen in Machil Sector, Kupwara district.

The distribution team, led by the Chairman of HAS, Bashir Ahmad Mir, successfully distributed food kits to impoverished families in the village.

The team distributed food kits to the poor and needy families in Ring Payeen and its adjoining villages, which are located 14 kilometers away from Machil. 

It is important to mention here that ILTIZAM RELIEF SOCIETY had given financial support to HAS for only 50 benifishries wherein 40 beneficiaries were covered in the Machil area and 10 Food kits were distributed among the orphan children of Barammula.

45 RR, a local unit of Ring Payeen had made all the seating arrangements and tents for the participants who had come to participate in the Seminar.

BDC Machil, Gh Rasool Khan graced the occasion as the Chief guest, while as Mohammed Maqbool Bhat, a senior member of HAS who is also serving as the Principal of Machil Higher Secondary School presides over the chair. It is pertinent to mention here that Bhatt has not only identified the beneficiaries but also played a significant role in facilitating the distribution process. Their presence added value and encouraged the community members.

In addition to the relief distribution process, the Human Aid Society conducted a seminar titled “Social Reforms and Our Responsibilities” as part of their ongoing campaign. 

Esteemed speakers highlighted the importance of social reforms and the eradication of social evils prevalent in contemporary society. 

The seminar aimed to inspire positive change and foster a sense of responsibility within the community.

Ring Payeen village is known for its rich village culture, characterized by strong social proximity and a sense of love and care for all. The community’s unity and compassion serve as its unique selling points, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for its residents.

The relief operation in Ring Payeen Machil was a successful endeavor undertaken by the Human Aid Society and Iltizam Relief Society.

The seminar on social reforms further emphasized the importance of positive change and responsibility within the community. The efforts of all those involved in this relief operation including Staff members of Higher Secondary School have made a significant impact in Ring Payeen, highlighting the collective commitment to creating a better and more inclusive society.

All the proceedings during the program were conducted by Altaf Ah teacher GHSS Ring Payeen while Riyaz Ah War Project Manager of Human Aid Society Zero Hunger Program thanked Guests, PRIs, Student beneficiaries, and Human Aid Society volunteers for their cooperation. He also paid his special thanks to IRS for their financial support.
