Director Horticulture for efficient management of Apple Leaf Blotch Miner Pest

SRINAGAR: In order to work out the joint strategy for efficient management of the Apple Leaf Blotch Miner Pest and to prevent its spread, the Director of Horticulture Kashmir, Ghulam Rasool Mir, today chaired a meeting at the Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir Srinagar.

During the course of the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on the intensity, proliferation, transmission, and management/eradication of Apple Leaf Blotch Miner.

Director Horticulture emphasized upon the officers of the department to put their every effort to reach out to the farming community for guidance, awareness, and preventive measures to handle the situation.

The meeting was attended by Dr Manzoor Ahmad Parray, HOD Division of Entomology SKAUST-K, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Jt. Director Horticulture Kashmir, Javid Ahmad Bhat, OSD to Director Horticulture Kashmir, Shiekh Imran, Chief Technical officer, Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir, Scientists of SKAUST-K, KVK, and officers of the department.
