Human Aid Society observes World Tobacco Day

Baramulla: Human Aid Society in collaboration with Tehsil Administration Boniyar observed World Tobacco Day. 

Former Chief Justice of J& K Ladak High Court Justice Ali Mohammad Magray was the Chief Guest while SDM Uri Jitin Kishore (IAS) presided over the chair beside them SDPO Uri Showkat Ali, District Social Welfare officer Nisar Ah Wani and army officers of Ist Field Army regiment, Tehsildar Boniyaar Vikram Jeet, Chairman, and Founder of Human Aid Society Bashir Ahmad Mir, Record holder, Junid-u-al Islam a motivational Speaker (Record holder of Howard Books of records London) Ph.D. Scholar from Aligarh Muslim University, Dr Sheikh Manzoor.

The program was also attended by PRIs, students from various Govt and private institutions, Para legal volunteers of District Legal Services, inhabitants of the local area, and religious and social activists of Tehsil Uri and Boniyaar.

The whole proceedings of the program was conducted by the Education Department District Cultural Wing coordinator and Volunteer of Human Aid Society Nazeer Ah Lone. 

During the program speakers highlighted the role of parents, teachers, police, and civil administration in curbing the drug mafia and suicidal tendencies among the youth. 

Justice Magray appealed to the parents to handle their children politely.
