Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, officials informed Monday.
They said during naka checking at Fatehgarh Sheeri, police recovered 140 grams of cannabis-like substance from one Majeed Ahmad Sofi, son of Abdul Ahad Sofi of Fatehgarh Sheeri. He has been arrested and shifted to the police station where he remains in custody while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sheeri for further investigation.
