SRINAGAR: Two matches were played today in connection with the ongoing inter-college cricket tournament organized by the Department of Physical Education at S.P College’s main ground.
The first match was played between the Department of Zoology and Chemistry and was comprehensively won by Zoology Department by 7 wickets.
The second match of the tournament was played between the Department of Botany and Evs and was won by Botany Department by 4 wickets.
Principal, S.P College, Prof (Dr ) Gh Jeelani Qurashi, along with sports board members Dr. Khurshid Ahmad Parray, Dr. Showkat Ahmad Wani, Dr. Javid Ahmad, Dr. Syed Rashid, Owais Wani, Arshad Salam, Mohammad Hafiz Khan, Arshid Iqbal, and Imran Hamdani interacted with all the teams and assured them the best possible infrastructure with a view to organizing a high-end competition in the college.
