Srinagar: Karnataka election verdict is resounding, the defeat of the hate politics of BJP and the victory of people reflecting that a Diverse Nation (India) cannot be run by hate and vendetta politics.

Former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir made these comments after the Karnataka election verdict and said the verdict has infused confidence among the people, who were feeling betrayed and frightened by the BJP’s politics based on deceit, religion, hate, and caste.

“The verdict has also proved that people believe in Congress party for its strenuous efforts to protect the just rights of people, unity and harmony in the country while besides its fight against crony capitalism, political exploitation and various other anti-people measures on the part of the BJP,” Mir added.

Former JKPCC Chief said the resounding victory of Congress was expected given the Party’s sustained struggle and fight against the assault on people’s rights, and religious and hate politics in the county.

Mir also congratulated Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and Karnataka State leadership for the overwhelming victory.
