According to a press note issued here, Bharat Kumar and his supporters officially joined the Apni Party during an event held at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The event was graced by the presence of the party’s top leaders, including party chief Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who warmly welcomed the new members into the fold.

Greeting Bharat Kumar and his supporters into the party, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “It brings me immense pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you in the Apni Party. This event marks an important moment for the Apni Party as I am sure your joining would strengthen the party cadre further in the prestigious constituency of Uri. I assure you that Apni Party would be proven as the ideal platform for you to serve the people of your area, who have been chronically neglected and underserved by conventional political parties and their leaders, who have been in power for years and even decades.”

He further said, “I am having frequent interactions with the people of Uri, and I am committed to them that Apni Party would be working towards the holistic development of the region and bringing prosperity and progress to every individual.”

“I look forward to working closely with you towards our shared goal of serving the people of Uri,” Bukhari said.

Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Vice president Javaid Mustafa Mir, party’s Parliamentary Committee Chairman Mohammad Dilawar Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, and others. Also, the senior leaders from Uri including Mushtaq Choudhary, Rafiq Balote, Mukhtar Mughal, Mehmood Bukhari, and others were also present on the occasion.
