Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, officials informed Friday.
They said during patrolling at St. Joseph’s School Baramulla, police arrested one Syed Rouf Ahmad Bukhari, son of Syed Abdul Salam Bukhari of Umarabad Shah Hamdan Colony Srinagar, and recovered 15 grams of brown sugar-like substance from his possession.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Baramulla and further investigation has been initiated, police said.
