BJP stalling dev activities in Congress strongholds: JKPCC Chief
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Bandipora: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Vikar Rasool Wani on Monday said that Congress Party always worked towards strengthening the democratic Institutions in the country, and “it will continue to fight for safeguarding Institutions, which are under assault since BJP assumed power at Centre, even the India Parliament is under assault where opposition members are not allowed to raise questions over the failed policies of Modi Govt”.

“This mindset won’t deter Congress Party from highlighting the issues, especially loot of the Nation’s wealth and Modi Adani nexus,” said Wani.

Wani made these comments on Monday while leading “Jai Bharat Satyagraha” in Bandipora District of North Kashmir against the conviction and disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha after the Modi Govt failed to answer the questions he (Gandhi) raised over the Adani Issue.

AICC Joint Secretary Manoj Yadav, JKPCC Bandipora Coordinator Irfan Naqasbandi, Senior Leader Prof.Ismail Ashna, and various other leaders participated in the Satyagraha.

Wani said that Congress Party has launched Nationwide Jai Bharat Satyagraha against the Modi Govt’s move to dismantle the democratic structure in the country and crush the genuine voices being raised against its policies which are detrimental to the Nation and people as well, it (Congress) will continue to challenge any move which goes against the wishes of people.

“Rahul Gandhi’s conviction and disqualification was part of a large conspiracy to hide Modi Adani nexus and intimidate the opposition, but such tactics won’t deter Congress Party from highlighting the open loot of the Nation’s wealth which stands exposed by Rahul Gandhi. People have realized how BJP Govt is looting people and strengthening Corporates, besides choking the genuine voices, but the time has come when BJP will be responded heavily for the damages caused to the country’s economy and assault on democratic institutions,” Wani added.

Congress Leaders Bashir Ahmad Khan, Adv.Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, Basharat Buhroo, Gh. Mohd Dar, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Haroon Habib, Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, G.M.Rafiquee, Rehana, and others also participated.
