Joint Director YSS asks for strict adherence to Annual Sports Activity Calendar

JAMMU: To review the various activities of the Department of Youth Services & Sports of Jammu, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu, Suram Chand Sharma today chaired a meeting of Sports Officers of Jammu province.

Among others, Deputy Director Planning Directorate Ravi Kumar, Mool Raj Assistant Director, Accounts Officer Directorate, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Establishment, Incharge, Shivnandan Singh, District Youth Services & Sports Officers, and Zonal Physical Education Officers of Jammu Division attended the meeting.

The joint Director urged upon the Sports Officers to ensure implementation of common minimum programme in schools and adhere to the Annual Calendar of Physical Activities and ensure maximum participation of students in sports events.

He also exhorted the Officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the desired goals of set up by the Department. The pendency of Audi Paras & Progress on works was also discussed.
