SRINAGAR: In view of the ensuing G-20 event in Srinagar City, it is incumbent upon all of us including the citizens to present the best image of the city to the visiting dignitaries.

While the Government is making, necessary arrangements for the upliftment of the city, it is important that the citizens also play their part in sprucing up the city and making the event a grand success.

It is indeed an occasion for upholding the rich heritage of the city as well as its prestige. The citizens of the city are accordingly requested to contribute towards the success of the event by sprucing up their premises, especially along the main roads including I.G Road, M.A Road, Residency Road, Rajbagh, foreshore, etc.

The citizens are requested to undertake facade improvement of their properties wherever required. The walls may be painted white and peach similar to the existing color scheme.

Making the city beautiful is a collective responsibility of the Government and the citizens. The citizens are requested to come forward to play their due part in this prestigious cause.
