Expressing serious concern over the slipping of youth into the dark alleys of drug menace, Javed Dar said, “Incidents like these are a chilling reminder of the vulnerability we as a society are confronted with in wake of the rising graph of drug addiction/ substance abuse. Theft, burglary, and murders of this beastly nature are interrelated with the wanton drug menace plaguing our youth. The government will do what it can, but we as a society have to come forward and take up initiatives to curb this burgeoning menace.”

“Drug Abuse spoils many human lives and also destroys the golden periods of life. To curb this menace, the government should come up with de-addiction centers with sufficient carrying capacity and medics to cater to such cases. The biggest challenge before the administration is to stop the trafficking of such illicit drugs and substances. Investing in recreational activities including sports and arts can go a long way in the management of this menace. Empowering educated and skilled youth should be on the priority list of the government,” he added.

Joined in by party functionaries, the party leaders Javed Dar, and Irshad Rasool Kar offered Fatiha for the deceased and prayed for peace to the departed in the highest echelons of Jannat. They also extended unwavering support to the bereaved household in their hour of grief and loss.
