Srinagar: The Football tournament which was organised by Police in Ganderbal under the Civic Action Program, concluded today at Gadoora Stadium with a Grand Finale between FC Tulamulla & Athwas FC, which was won by FC Tulamulla by 2:0 Goals.
SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar accompanied by Addl. SP Ganderbal Feroz Yeyha was present on the occasion. In the final match, SSP Ganderbal appreciated all the teams for taking part in the tournament, especially both the teams were congratulated for playing the Grand finale.
Further, he laid stressed upon the young & budding players of the district to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of sports like football, volleyball & other games.
It is pertinent to mention here that the tournament was inaugurated on 26-03-2023, in which 08 teams belonging to different areas of the district participated with huge fervour & enthusiasm.
On the occasion, DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Gh Hassan, Principal Physical College Gadoora, officers of Civil & Police Department were also present.
At the end of the final match, award ceremony was conducted and SSP Ganderbal presented Trophies & Cash rewards to both winner & runner up teams & wished them good luck in future also.
