Masoodi proposes amendment to Advocate Act in LS

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Member of the Parliament Hasnain Masoodi on Friday proposed an amendment in the advocate act in Lok Sabha.

Masoodi proposed an amendment in the Advocate Act by proposing a minimum of Rs 5000 per month as a stipend to newly enrolled lawyers. “The new entrants need some sort of financial assistance till they find their feet in the profession,” he said.
