Srinagar: J&K Peoples Conference Chairman Parliamentary Committee and former legislator Nizamud-din-Bhat today strongly condemned the dastardly and gruesome murder of a 30-year-old woman in Soibug.

“It is deeply troubling to hear about the killing of a woman in Soibug and the brutal manner in which her body was mutilated. Such heinous acts should never be tolerated, and the perpetrators should be brought to justice,” Bhat said.

Bhat expressed his solidarity with the family of the victim and prayed for peace to the departed soul. He said that the family must show patience and strength during this dark hour of loss.

While terming the increase in criminal activities alarming and disheartening, Bhat said that it is important for authorities to take swift action and bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice.

“It is also important to ensure that measures are taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future,” he added.

While exhorting society to take serious note of rising crimes and the deviation from the values we are known for, Bhat said that it is essential that we work collectively towards preventing such acts of violence and promoting respect for human life and dignity.

“As a responsible community, we must stand together in condemning violence and showing solidarity with the family of the victim. It is our collective responsibility to work towards creating a safe and just society, which has no place for such heinous acts of violence,” he added.
