Youth Services & Sports Department felicitates winner of LG Rolling Cricket Trophy-2023

JAMMU: Director, Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K UT, Subash C Chhibber today felicitated the Jammu District team winner of LG Rolling Cricket Trophy-2023 at MA Stadium today.

Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Suram Chand Sharma, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Kashmir, Bashir Ahmed, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Jitender Mishra besides all District Officers along with other officers were also present on the occasion.

Pertinently, Jammu District lifted this prestigious Trophy by defeating the Anantnag District team by 20 runs. The cash prizes of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75000, and Rs 50000 were also presented to the winner, runners-up, and third-position teams.

Speaking on the occasion, Director YSS passed on his words of gratitude and message of appreciation to the entire Department and all the ranks for organizing matches of LGs Rolling Trophy most proficiently at various levels and making it a very successful tournament.

Pertinently more than 40 thousand youth participated in the cricketing tourney and the final of the sports extravaganza was played at MAM Stadium Jammu on the 09th of March in presence of the LG of the UT.
