Srinagar: The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Anantnag has rejected the bail application of a chemist namely Ubaidullah Rehmani, and another person Rayees Ahmed Dugga.
They both are accused of administering an injection to a person namely Irfan Ahmed Bhat at their shop in Janglatmandi Anantnag, which resulted in the death of the said person.
Earlier, an official had said that police Post Janglatmandi Anantnag had received an application on 27th Jan, from Aadil Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Nabi Bhat R/O Deva Colony Anantnag, stated therein, that his brother namely Irfan Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Nabi Bhat R/O Deva colony Anantnag was feeling throat irritation.
“Accordingly, he approached a medical shop at janglat mandi i. e Rehmani Medical chamber, who had injected him with injections without a test dose. He developed some complications and was brought to GMC Ananthnag where doctors declared him brought dead the death was caused by the negligence of a medical shopkeeper namely Ubaid Ulla Rehmani S/O Ab Aziz Rehmani R/O Green Colony Janglatmandi Anantnag,” he had said.
“On receiving this application, case FIR No. 44/2023 Under Relevant sections stands registered at P/S Anantnag and an investigation was initiated,” he had added.
