JAMMU: Urging the Govt to review its notification on property tax, Apni Party Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir today said the issue should be left to an elected Govt.

According to a press statement, the Apni Party organized a meeting at its headquarters at Gandhi Nagar in Jammu.

The meeting was chaired by Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir sahib.

The meeting was attended by Vice President, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali, State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh, all district presidents, and frontal heads.

Addressing the meeting, Ghulam Hassan Mir said that “The recent decision of the Govt to impose property tax in Jammu and Kashmir has attracted criticism from the people.”

“This decision should be left to the elected Govt in Jammu and Kashmir to decide in the interest of the people,” he added.

He further demanded that assembly elections should be held to restore the democratic system as well as restore the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

This meeting also reviewed the constituency-wise working of the Apni Party and its organizational structure.

The meeting also reviewed celebrations on the raising day of the Apni Party on March 8, 2023.
