Jammu: The government of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday directed the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for undertaking important repair and maintenance works on NH-44 (Jammu-Srinagar national highway) .
As p[er an official communiqué, 24th February has been declared as “traffic dry day” between Nashri to Navyuga Tunnel. No Light or heavy motor vehicle, except medical emergency vehicles, will be allowed to ply on between Nashri Tunnel towards Navyuga Tunnel and vice-versa from 6.00 AM on 24th February till 6.00 AM on 25th February 2023.
Similar “traffic dry day” will be observed on 3rd March, and on 10th March, 2023, the communiqué informed.
