Srinagar: After defeating Mohammedan SC, Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will take on Aizawl FC in a Hero I-League match on Tuesday at the Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
In the previous match played on Saturday, the RKFC defeated Mohammedan SC 3-2.
Addressing a pre-match press conference on Monday, RKFC’s Technical Director, Gifton Noel Williams, said the morale of the players is high after defeating Mohammedan SC on Saturday.
“Aizawl FC is a good team with energetic and young players. Tomorrow is probably going to be a good and exciting match. We have to play and win this game. Players are giving 100 percent during the training. One thing I can guarantee is that once players are on the field they will give their 100 percent and try to win the match,” he said.
He said fans have high expectations with the RKFC after winning the last several matches.
“All the three matches played under my coaching were hard. They were physical and tactical games. But our boys are playing fearless football to win games. We hope our team will be dominating tomorrow’s match,” Williams said.
Since Gifton Noel Williams joined the RKFC as its Technical Director, the team has won two matches and one ended with a draw.
Aizawl FC head coach, Caetano Pinho, said it would be a tough game since RKFC has a good side.
“The morale of RKFC is high after they defeated Mohammedan SC in the previous game. It won’t be an easy game for us since RKFC is playing on home ground. We can’t predict the results but will try to win three points against this opponent,” he added.
