Srinagar: Apni Party Senior Vice President and former Cabinet minister Ghulam Hassan Mir on Saturday urged LG Administration to release the pending salaries to the Kashmiri Pandit employees on the occasion of Shivaratri so that they can celebrate the festival with traditional fervor and enthusiasm with their families.

In his statement, Ghulam Hassan Mir has appealed LG Administration to look into the matter of these Pandit employees on humanitarian grounds and order the immediate release of their held salaries on the occasion of Shivaratri.

“I request the Govt to release the salaries of these employees before the joyous occasion of Maha Shivaratri because this is a festival which is being celebrated by Kashmiri Pandits with religious fervor and enthusiasm. They should be provided with their due salaries on this religious occasion so that they could happily celebrate the festival with their families,” he said.
