Apni Party to hold sit-in protest at all district headquarters against bulldozing drive

Srinagar: Apni Party has announced that it will hold a sit-in protest against the ongoing bulldozing drive by the administration in J&K. The proposed sit-in will be organized at every district headquarter in the Valley on Friday at 3 PM.

According to a press note, Party’s Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir presided over a preparatory meeting at the party headquarters in Srinagar on Thursday.

“MIr instructed all the district leaders and senior workers to ensure a peaceful sit-in in order to register a protest against the ongoing bulldozing drive by the administration,” the press note said.

The prominent leaders who were present on this occasion included Vice President Usman Majid, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Chief Coordinator Abdul Majid Padder, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, State Convenor Haji Parvez, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Baramulla Khursheed Khan, District President Bandipora Shafat Kazmi, District President Pulwama G. M Mir, District President Ganderbal Javaid Mir, Provincial President of the party’s Youth Wing Khalid Rathore and others.
