People endorse AP’s politics of truth, equitable dev: Ghulam Hassan Mir

JAMMU: Apni Party Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir today said every segment of society in Jammu and Kashmir has endorsed the politics of telling truth and equitable development.

Impressed with the policy and agenda of the Apni Party, many people including women joined the Apni Party at Gandhi Nagar in presence of Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, and other leaders.

Addressing the joining programme, Mir welcomed the new entrants into the party fold from Jammu City and hoped that their joining would strengthen the party.

The joining programme was organized by OBC State Coordinator, Madan Lal Chalotra.

In his address, he said that the party has made inroads in Jammu as well and dozens of people are joining the party with the hope of getting their issues addressed. “The people from different segments of society have joined the Apni Party acknowledging the policy and agenda of development to provide equitable development to all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Highlighting the social security scheme of the Apni Party, he said, “We are committed to enhancing widow pension up to 5000 rupees, 4 free cooking gas cylinders per family every year under Ujjawala Scheme, will provide 500 unit of free electricity in Jammu during summers and during winters, Kashmir will get 500 units of free electricity.”

Similarly, he said that 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the people of Jammu during the winter season and Kashmir will get 300 units during the summer season free of cost. “Apni Party is committed to protecting natural resources, ensuring employment to the locals at their respective industrial sectors and empowering women and marginalized sections of the society socially, politically, and educationally.”

“We will ensure that all the regions get equal share in the development and there would not discrimination with any region. The people of Jammu have also come in support of the party in all the districts and they have extended their support to the party and expressed faith in the leadership of Apni Party under Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari sahib,” he said.

Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Additional General Secretary (Organisation), Arun Kumar Chibber, Provincial Secretary/District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, General Secretary Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya, ST Wing President Jammu Province, Choudhary Shabir Kohli, women leader, Provincial Secretary, Vishal Jotshi, Pavneet Kour, and others.
