Dr Samoon reviews grievances registered on JKIGRAMS regarding SDD

JAMMU: Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department (SDD), Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of the J&K Skill Development Mission at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

Threadbare discussion was held on various issues pertaining to the Audit of PMKVY 2.0, SANKALP, payment of PMKYV 3.0 and covid warriors, clearance of work done liabilities under the scheme, and utilization of USB under PMKVY 2.0 for skill training under PMKVY 4.0.

During the meeting, Principal Secretary was apprised of progress achieved under centrally sponsored PMKVY and SANKALP schemes of the Government of India.

Principal Secretary also took stock of audit work undergoing under PMKVY 2.0 and stressed on the officials to clear all pending work being done under the scheme. He also asked the officers to furnish utilization certificates pertaining to these centrally sponsored schemes at the earliest.

Mission Director, J&K Skill Development Mission, Leena Padha; Director, Skill Development Department, Sudershan Kumar, Mission Director NHM J&K, Special Secretary SDD, Joint Director Planning SDD, Principals Polytechnic for women Jammu/Kashmir, Audit and other senior officers of Skill Development Department besides the representative of National Skill Development Corporation attended the meeting in person and virtually.
