Div Com Kashmir unfurls National Flag at office premises

SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole, unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from the CRPF contingent at the office premises today to celebrate the 74th Republic Day here.

The unfurling of the tricolor was followed by the National Anthem.

Meanwhile, the Div Com extended Republic Day greetings to the officers of Divisional Administration and security who were present on the occasion.

Among others present on the occasion were Additional Commissioner Kashmir Qazi Sarwar, Additional Commissioner Kashmir Abid Hussain Kira, police officers, and other officers and staff of the Div Com office.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day celebrations, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole hosted ‘At Home’ at Shere-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC).

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Mayor SMC, Junaid Azim Mattoo; ADGP, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar; Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Assad; HoDs of various departments; PRI representatives; leaders of different social and political organizations; eminent citizens and senior government officials attended the function.

The ‘At Home’ was also attended by young entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, National Awardees; prominent artists; sportspersons; besides senior Civil, Police, Army officers, and ex-Servicemen.

Later, the Advisor accompanied by Div Com and ADGP interacted with the guests and exchanged Republic Day greetings.
