Yasha Mudgal chairs 7th BoDs meeting of ACCB, BCCB

JAMMU: Commissioner Secretary Cooperative, Yasha Mudgal, today convened the 7th Board of Directors (BoDs) meeting of Anantnag Central Cooperative Bank (ACCB) and Baramulla Central Cooperative Bank (BCCB) at the civil secretariat here.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Director Budget, Finance Department, Deputy Director, Horticulture Kashmir, representative of NABARD, Chartered Account Jammu Ropan Sobti and other concerned officials of the department while Kashmir-based officers participated online.

Managing Director of ACCB, BCCB briefed the meeting about the overall performance including the financial progress of banks till date.

Threadbare discussion was held on issues related to banks for improvement of indices as per guidelines of RBI besides other points like human resources development, annual inspection of banks by NABARD, and Core Banking Solution.

The board noticed with satisfaction the significant rise in CRAR level and besides the recovery of Rs 7 crore with ACC Bank and 10 crores by the BCC Bank thereby bringing down the NPAs to 13% and 46% respectively.

The board emphasized upon the officers to accomplish the achievements against the set targets allocated to both banks under MAP approved by the government.

Also, the board asked the CEO to take disciplinary action against the delinquent officers.
