During the treatment, doctors required specialized treatment of the patient at Srinagar. This information was brought to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara through SDM Karnah.

The Deputy Commissioner put his all possible efforts and managed a chopper from the Army.

The chopper could not make a landing at Tangdar Helipad due to poor visibility. After the painstaking efforts of the Army and District Administration Kupwara, the operation continued today.

The patient was today morning airlifted from Tangdar Helipad in presence of SDM Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad, Tehsildar, and SHO. The patient was accompanied by one Medical Officer and one Attendant from SDH Tanghdar.
