State Taxes Deptt organises workshop on e-Stamping, e-Court fees for stamp vendors

JAMMU: Under the guidance of Commissioner, State Taxes Department (STD), Dr. Rashmi Singh, a training session-cum-workshop on e-Stamping and e-Court fees system was today organised by Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL) at the Conference Hall of State Excise and Taxation Office, here.

During the workshop, around 40 Stamp Vendors from Jammu Division were imparted training and knowledge on different aspects if e-Stamping and e-Court fee system.

Speaking during the workshop, Dr. Rashmi Singh urged upon the Stamp Vendors to give prompt and error-free services to citizens. She appreciated the role of Stock Holding’s Services and the customized MIS System which indicated information on a real-time basis.

During the course of the workshop, the senior representatives from Stockholding addressed various queries of Stamp Vendors and provided them with useful training on e-Stamping and e-Court fee systems.

STO Stamps, Sushma; Regional Head, Stockholding, Ehtesham Ahmad; e-Stamping Coordinator, Vikas Singla; Area Manager, Surinder Bhatia; Branch Manager, Harman Deep and other officials of State Taxes Department were also present during training.

Later on, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes, Namrata Dogra; Deputy Commissioner, (Headquarter), Ashima Sher and other officers of STD held a detailed meeting with the representatives of SHCIL. The officers assured full cooperation to them in strengthening outreach of information exchange through the offices of STOs in matters related to e-Stamping and e-Court Fees System across Jammu and Kashmir.
