Banihal: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, Vikar Rasool Wani, today reviewed Bharat Jodo Yatra Preparations and held a series of Yatra mobilization programmes in Banihal area of District Ramban.

JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani addressed largely attended Bharat Jodo Yatra Mobilization programmes at Khari and Ramsu areas of Banihal urging the people to make the upcoming Yatra successful, as that, it (BJY) is for the change and betterment of the people.

JKPCC President termed Bharat Jodo as the most significant movement in the country and said it (BJY) is against the assault on democratic institutions, rising unemployment, unprecedented price hike, hate and divisive politics which is harmful to the very idea of India. The Congress Party will continue to fight against the wrong policies adopted by the BJP towards the people, he said.

The ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi has infused confidence among the people Wani added and appealed to all like-minded secular parties in general and people of Jammu and Kashmir, in particular, to join the upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra with an overwhelming majority to make it successful as that it (BJY) is a hope for all Indians.

Those who addressed the meeting included DDC Member Imtiyaz Ahmad Khanday, DDC Member Bashir Ahmad Naik, Former NSUI President Feroz Ahmad Khan, BDC Chairman Ramsu Shafeeq Ahmad Katoch, BDC Chairman Ukhral Karleep Singh Bali, Block Presidents and prominent workers of the Banihal.
